Outdoor Education helps to develop children by teaching them valuable and transferable skills. On our trips via the medium of adventure activities, students learn about risk awareness and safety. This builds self reliance and resilience in challenging situations not just during programmes, but for the rest of their lives. Children are taught about the natural Environments they do activities in, and about the communities and people living in them.

We pride ourselves in our ability to educate children in the great Outdoors.

Undertaking Outdoor Education programmes from early years to Secondary School level is a powerful tool that is proven to positively benefit individuals for the rest of their lives:

“an astonishing 94% of respondents claimed that out-of-classroom learning experiences had an overwhelmingly positive influence in their personal growth”.

Beames,S. (2018). The Lifelong Value of Out-Of -Classroom Learning Experiences: Gordonstoun School, pp. 3.

EARLY YEARS

You don't need to go far from the classroom to inspire your early years students with knowledge and love of the outdoors. We run in school activities and single day programmes. We specialise in offering children their first night away from Parents & Guardians.

PRIMARY

A child's time at Primary School is an ideal period for outdoor learning.

We offer a wide variety of activities at destinations aimed at bringing out the best in young minds, developing a range of skills including social, teamwork, physical and psychological.

SECONDARY

Secondary School can be a challenging time for children and at Infinity Outdoors we love a challenge!

We work with teenagers on a wide number and style of trips and expeditions. Extensive reflection and reviewing is undertaken to learn valuable lessons.

INTERNATIONAL

AWARD

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is validated locally by the Presidents Award Kenya. It differs from PA by being officially recognised outside of Kenya. We provide the Adventurous Journey component of the Award  and offer all levels of expeditions in a variety of locations.

Key Stage 1

Children learn to take risks from an early age... well guided by parents and teachers of the course and at Infinity Outdoors managing risk is at our core.

At KS1, we primarily offer one-night residential trips close to Nairobi, with the goal being to not only survive that first night away from Mom & Dad, but to thrive during that first night away from Mom and Dad!

Day trips within Nairobi with age appropriate activities are also available.

Key Stage 3

Trips are often challenging for Schools to run at the KS3 level. Infinity Outdoors has a solution for you whatever your aim: do you want to do Geography field trips somewhere unique, what about an IB Group 4 project at the Coast or even have your sports students get world-class coaching in paddlesports as an alternative for PE subjects.

We do all that and more and love to host those leaving trips for Y13's looking to end their School careers with memories to last a lifetime

Key Stage 2

At KS2 Primary Education level, Infinity Outdoors School trips are geared toward learning through FUN. Children get their first taste of open water and simple moving water rapids. They get vertical on the end of a rope while rock climbing. Explore wild areas on short Mountain bike trips. Learn to give back through service learning with our different environmental and community partners and learn basic skills to help them in the outdoors for the rest of their lives.

Trips can be for a single day in Nairobi, or overnight and upto 5 days long all over Kenya. We can align with your Educational or extra curricular needs whatever they may be!
